July 11th, 2009
We have set our wedding date, July 11th 2009. Thankfully both our church and our top reception choice were available on the same day and roughly the time we wanted. The ceremony is at St. John of God, our church in the Inner Sunset a few blocks from where I live. The reception is at the Cliff House. The Cliff House is where Danelle and I went the first time she asked me out. She was hoping for a clear sunset when we went to dinner there but unfortunately it was fogged in that night; we'll be crossing our fingers for our wedding day.
The Cliff House is a beautiful restaurant built on the cliffs at the western most point of San Francisco. It is one of the oldest San Francisco destinations; a stop along the 49-Mile Scenic Drive. Also, on site is a giant camera obscura built in the 1940's, which Marcus has an obvious affinity for. We are honored to be able to hold our event at such an amazing place.
